Outline of the day

The PSA 16 World Café is a FREE event, hosted by the Government Office for the East Midlands, which will provide information and ideas to help tackle some of the challenges in delivering housing and related services to people in the PSA 16 client groups.

A keynote speaker will highlight regional and national strategic issues relating to PSA 16.

The World Café format offers a range of different discussion groups which delegates can choose to join. These are all listed below. Coffee will be available throughout the morning, and the event will close with a networking lunch.

  • Pre-tenancy support (Stonham HA)
  • Links with probation and into prison (Kettering Borough Council EHO/ Nottinghamshire Probation Service)
  • Social Lettings Agency Pilot Scheme (DASH)
  • Integrated approaches to housing and support for people with mental health distress (Lincolnshire Partnership Foundation Trust NHS)
  • Partnership working for care leavers (Nottingham Supporting People team)
  • Social Enterprise as an option for PSA 16 clients (tbc)
  • The challenges and opportunities in the implementation of PSA 16 in the coming months (tbc)
  • Commissioning for PSA 16: ‘has anybody cracked this yet?’ (tbc)
You will be able to opt for up to 5 discussions and in each discussion you will have the chance to ask questions about strategic and nuts and bolts issues, hear what has worked and not worked, share ideas and contribute to the discussion based on the work you are doing as well.

It will be an informal structure that should encourage a free flow of ideas and help you to make some useful contacts across the region.

You do not need to choose which discussions you take part in until the day of the event.

  • Supporting people services
  • Mental health services
  • Probation and prison services
