An increasing number of employers are having to take the tough decision to reduce their workforce in order to safeguard the future of their core businesses.

Not many of those made redundant will be able to walk straight into another job of their choice. However, employers who are forced to make cutbacks can make the choice - at a price to suit their circumstances – to give their workers the best possible chance of making a new start. Training in interview skills, how to create a great CV, and how to plan the search for work can make a huge difference to the likelihood of finding work – as well as to the self-esteem of the trainees.

CCC Ltd has experienced consultants who can offer a great deal more than kind words. They deliver both training to groups, and one-to-one training, on a range of skills designed to boost the individual’s chance of finding work, discovering re-training opportunities, or even becoming self-employed.

Training for Groups

Our training style is practically focussed, interactive and positive in outlook. As little as half a day’s training can make a significant difference to a redundant worker’s ability to make a fresh start. Training can provide: A boost to self-confidence through the ability to identify personal strengths New ideas on where to look for work – and how to plan the search The chance to introduce alternatives such as re-training, further education or self-employment Practical information on the range of benefits immediately available Practical skills to help with time management and developing a personal action plan Direction in creating a quality CV which presents the individual at his or her best Advice on coping with interviews (which can include mock interviews)

Individual Training and Counselling

All training can be provided on a one-to-one basis or in very small groups. The higher the ratio of consultants to trainees, the more we are able to scope the training to the exact requirements of the individual. They can work in depth on an individual’s CV or on practice interviews. We also offer an ongoing consultation service which allows individuals who have received some prior training to chat to one of our consultants before and after real-life interviews, and to bounce ideas around.

Fees

We will provide a quick and straightforward quote based upon the exact
scope of work you require. The training and consultancy can be
delivered at the venue of your choice – either the workplace
or a convenient local venue.
